Last glance

A last glance at the ksar of Ait Benhaddou from the village across the wadi. Despite our necessarily brief visit, it was a fascinating place to walk around, and if we return to Morocco (which we’d very much like to do), we’ll definitely come back here to see what we missed.

Thanks again for all the great comments and votes for this little gallery! Our next stop was Marrakech after crossing the High Atlas Mountains, where Tim was finally able to go to a hospital for his broken foot.

And a side note that has nothing to do with this picture: We have been considering a tour of Tunisia, but after today’s shocking news plus the massacre of tourists in March, I think that may be off our list for a while…

A very interesting array of souvenirs, posted earlier:

It was a fascinating gallery as always. It is such a shame we can't be free to visit places without fear of violence. V
