We visited a ceramics workshop where they made both decorative pottery and mosaic works such as fountains and tables.

This was a finished tabletop that I really liked, but unfortunately shipping it to Saudi Arabia would have been prohibitively expensive and risky (judging by the disaster with a table we ordered elsewhere). The man in the picture below was cutting up pieces of fired tile to make designs like those seen here.
