Dar Meziana (5)

A last series of pictures from Dar Meziana, our accommodation in Chefchaouen. We stayed at dars and riads – both large former residences, with the latter having an internal courtyard. Dar Meziana wasn’t the most beautiful, but it probably had the most character, especially the rooms. As charming as the rooms were, they were painfully small – getting past the bed was like an obstacle course full of things to bang your leg into, and the little alcove for a computer was so tiny, it took a lot of gyrations to even get into and sit down. Still, it was a pleasant and picturesque place to spend a few days.

One more pretty door at Dar Meziana. The place was full of them!

A most exotic shower at Dar Meziana, posted earlier:

Charming door! Somehow, the word computer doesn't seem to fit here. :) V

Very lovely detail. It is interesting to see the star resembling the Star of David. V
