We were unable to find the main souk in Salalah, but we did come across one near the sultan’s palace that was interesting to visit but not the easiest place to photograph. I did manage to get a few, so will be uploading all of them today.
This was one of countless shops selling kuma, the cap worn by Omani men when they aren’t wearing the more elaborate moussa. Apparently you pick out the one you want, and it is then tailored to fit your head exactly. I bought one of them on our last trip to Oman, although Tim doesn’t wear it ;-).
