We were unable to find the main souk in Salalah, but we did come across one near the sultan’s palace that was interesting to visit but not the easiest place to photograph. I did manage to get a few, so will be uploading all of them today.

These were incense burners in a large store selling a wide variety of incense, including the native frankincense. We saw this sparkling display in their window in the late afternoon sun and just had to go in, and ended up buying a ceramic burner that we carried for two weeks all over the Gulf. It made it home with only one corner broken off, amazingly enough.
