Frankincense

The wadi was quite rich in frankincense trees. I thought this one had a particularly interesting shape.

Also posted today, a curious camel:

A lovely tree ! I wonder if they're grown commercially - there must be a demand for frankincense ! V

Does the tree smell as it is/when growing, or only it's dried wood when burnt?

an interesting landscape, even if getting barren. These trees must be the saving grace
