I have been back to this garden numerous times with Sahraa since Tim has been in the hospital, and only once have all the fountains been on. It’s such a pity because they’re so refreshing to see. But one recent afternoon there were a lot of kids playing on the slides and such, and a number of Saudi women with them. I was happy to see people do use this park after all! Of course, it’s pleasant during the day now, averaging around 24 degrees C, and downright cold at night, quite a radical change from the blistering summer.
