Tivoli Gardens is a famous amusement park and pleasure garden that opened in 1843 and is the second oldest amusement park in the world.
It was interesting to walk through Tivoli and see all the attractions, but I imagine it might have been fascinating at night when everything is lit up; however, it was pretty far from our hotel and we just couldn’t make it back in the evening.
Another of the many amusement rides in the gardens; I don’t think my stomach or nerves could have tolerated this one! In the background is a famous pagoda that houses an Asian restaurant. At this point, the weather was rapidly deteriorating, so we didn’t try to get a closer look.
