There are a lot of fortifications in the mountains of Oman. I don’t know when they date to, but obviously a long time ago. I thought these three on one mountain in old Muscat were quite interesting.

I have uploaded a number of pictures to this gallery today because I have one more day off of my Ramadan holiday (from my Turkish newspaper), and also because I have so many pictures, I really wanted to get this gallery going, with the historic part of Muscat.
