These dates were found growing on a very short palm tree (definitely a different type from the others around here) and were hanging just inches above the ground.

Thanks for all the good wishes for our trip! I’m happy it finally all came together, but we aren’t leaving just yet, so need to dig out more archive pictures until then ;-).
