This is the mosque at the airport in Riyadh and was the first building I saw in Saudi Arabia after setting foot outside the terminal. I can’t quite remember where we were parked (not here for sure), but it was dazzling. I asked somebody picking us up if it was OK if I took a picture and was told probably not, so I didn’t.

I have never been able to find that vantage point again, and have never been as dazzled as that first night back in October, but this is what I was able to get on another night at the airport.
