Rock tomb complex

I can't remember what area these tombs were located in, but I thought it an attractive setting.

Mada’in Saleh is one of Saudi Arabia’s two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The city was settled by the Nabataeans, whose capital was Petra in Jordan, in the first century B.C., and most of the 131 rock-cut tombs date to the first century A.D.

Very mysterious.

Just so there is no confusion, the tombs are man-made; the rocks are natural formations.

They look like they are a natural part of the landscape, not man-made. Amazing. Very good POV in this lovely shot. V
