This is a view of the dome of the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia (Majlis as-Shura) building from the hotel grounds. I was hoping for a close-up view of the structure and did everything short of climbing the wall ;-), but to no avail. It is well and truly hidden and I believe would only be visible from an upper floor of the hotel. I even asked Tim to try to get a shot of it for me when Obama was in town, but unfortunately the control room to which he had access was on the other side of the hotel.
