Photography is alive and well

This guy was also photographing the tree planting in the three previous pictures. It was nice to actually see somebody using a camera here! However, that same day we did encounter two foreign women with cameras, and a few days later went up to a viewing platform overlooking the city, and everybody -- including locals -- seemed to have a camera (and not just cell phone cameras). So there is hope yet!

Fascinating! This fellow is clearly comfortable with setting up all his equipment and photographing. A lovely shot on your part. V

It is good to take a slow measured approach sometimes with a tripod. But then I get drawn to smaller and cameras too.

Nice to see a photographer using a tripod for daytime photography. Seems so Old School in the digital age.

Ah...a rolling camera bag. Sure beats a sore shoulder and back! I once took my camera equipment in a rolling cooler (soft sided). I needed a lot of heavy stuff and it seemed to make sense. Worked well.
