45 cents a gallon

Gasoline in Saudi Arabia costs the equivalent of US$.45 a gallon. It costs us about $8.00 to fill our tank; it used to cost us around $100 in Budapest.

Here in New York State it's around $3.60 a gallon... I remember $0.45 a gallon when I first started driving way back when...

Really low prices for gasoline. $8 a tank compared with the 80-90 around here....V.

So interesting Helen. I guess with very inexpensive gas comes fast and powerful cars. Can't imaging $8 for a tank...we run three cars at our house and I could retire much earlier at these prices :0) ~V~

Last time I filled my tank it came to US$130 equivalent, but most of that goes to the UK Government treasury. I feel proud to do my bit for the UK economy :(
