Well, the kitten ran up the tree with no prompting from our dog, Sahraa, and then sat there and cried and cried. I felt quite badly for it and hope it was able to get down after we left. I remembered stories about people calling the fire department to get cats out of trees, but somehow I don't think that's a custom here.
