Sky bridge under construction (1999-2002)

I’m posting a few shots of enlarged photos of Kingdom Centre that were on display at the elevators. This shows the sky bridge under construction – what might appear as wide angle distortion in my image below is really the way it is – dramatically arched and outward leaning. There must be some photography going on in the kingdom because IMO this view of the construction is an excellent capture!

It was a bit mystifying when we bought tickets to go up to the sky bridge on the 99th floor – the guy said pictures with a digital camera were OK only until 4 p.m. After that I presume you would have to use a cell phone. I sure didn’t understand what difference it would make.

That's a cool perspective. Will you have a chance to catch that from below?

Amazing pov in the above shot! Considering there is a Canon store in the mall, there most definitely is photography taking place somewhere. .....maybe behind closed doors when the abayas come off? ;) V

It looks like an imaginatively designed building. As with lots of buildings, I think it is hard to get a sense of the scale from a photograph, and you need to see it in the flesh, or iron, or concrete :)

Great details. Can't understand what difference the time makes to photos though. Maybe it was ok because he had finished his shift and wouldn't get into trouble!
