Water towers

These two water towers are situated on the park grounds and are visible from pretty much everywhere on the DQ. Actually, we live so close to the park (our wall runs along its perimeter) I’d be able to see them outside my dining room-now-office window if it weren’t for some ugly, unfinished construction in the way. Note: The color may be off here because I shot pictures all day long with the white balance accidentally set on manual or flash or something bizarre (!) -- one of the hazards of my small cameras, not realizing I have changed something -- and I am having to adjust the WB in processing. But this picture proved a big challenge, and I finally just gave up!

This is a view of the base with trellises and bougainvilleas running up it:

The person walking at the bottom gives a good idea of their size. Excellent, whether the tones are off or not. V

My, these are really quite large water towers, interesting design. Think this "warm" white balance is just fine ! V
