Gaudí created chimneys and air vents in fantastical shapes taken from nature in Catalonia, such as mushrooms growing in groups and seeking light. There are four arrangements of chimneys on the roof, similar but yet each one different in design and decoration.
These are the chimneys by the front facade in the previous picture. I thought they were a different group, but we finally figured out that I just shot them from a different angle after consulting a layout of the roof. Still, I thought their configuration from the side to be quite interesting.
