The 'retro' diesel

Built in 1944 by the Ganz Works in Budapest, it's a "three-car diesel trainset with five-axle railcars," according to the sign (which I remembered to photograph, twice ;-)). I thought this was one of the most beautiful engines in the park.

This certainly has that "retro" look of those times. Well done!

We have the same taste in train engines. This is my favorite! Very cool looking. V

Quite tight screen, at least it keeps the driver's eyes of what is ahead. Like the vertical railings on screen and lights, adds a stylish look. The logo is great. V

Must have been cutting edge in 1944. I like the "Detroit Red Wings" logo on the front. Well photographed, very sharp and clear. "V"

It truly is lovely. I wish trains today had some of this beauty and interest. Very nicely photographed. V

Cette vieille machine diesel est très belle de face et le logo avec la roue et les ailes est magnifique. V
