Clash of styles (16th century, 20th century)

This looks like it used to be some kind of papal building. It has definitely been repurposed. It was also snowing at this point.

Thanks to Jola: This building was called "under the little angels" and was built in the second half of the 16th century.

Great capture. It is nice that the old has not yet been destroyed and replaced by steel and glass.

The times they are a-changin' ... I like this contrast, anachronism and happy that this old lintel is kept in good shape. V

Well spotted and photographed. Lots of interesting detail here. The old lintel is fascinating and seems so out of place, but fits right in simultaneously. "V"
