Almost all of the images I've posted thus far have been from Riga's "Art Nouveau District," which has an abundance of spectacular and beautifully restored Art Nouveau buildings. It's so famous, it's quite the tourist destination here. This current series of images is of Art Nouveau buildings around town, of which there are more than 800.
I have to admit I took the easy way out on this one. The full photo had four thick, ugly power lines running through the decorative work on the building that I simply didn't want to deal with. Besides, in this case it was only the quite unusual clock tower that I was interested in, so I cropped it to avoid most of the power lines ;-).
