Jugendstil in Katajanokka

Katajanokka, where our hotel was located, is Helsinki's premiere Art Nouveau district.

This really was a bird building, first the owls and now swans! I hope Burt is taking note of thie ;-).

Great find and capture, Helen, I agree at this is a 'Bird Building', I don't like and have never lived in a bird building, all them around here in Taiwan though, as you know it is very rare in Okinawa and Japan. V
