The aptly named View Point Inn was the filming location for Bella and Edward's prom in the movie Twilight. Unfortunately, the inn suffered a devastating fire in July 2011. Facing financial difficulties, the owners had allowed the insurance to lapse. Plans were made to rebuild and reopen the inn, but the building is still unrestored and boarded up.
