Coyote Leads Salmon Up the River

Chelan, WA

Along the Chelan Riverwalk is a sculpture by renowned northwest artist Richard Beyer. The sculpture depicts the Chelan Tribe legend of how a disagreement between coyotes and mountain goats led to the coyotes creating obstacles keeping salmon from reaching Lake Chelan.
