Last of the Art Deco area steam locomotives pulled the Daylight Express passenger cars. Among the locomotives on display at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center, the stylish 4449 gets the most attention. This locomotive pulled the America's Bicentennial Freedom Train (1975-76), visiting all 48 contiguous states. It can still run today.
