Lynden, WA
Right in the middle of downtown is a building that has a windmill on top of it. It's called the Lynden Dutch Village, marked by the familiar rotating windmill at its end. What started as the former location for a long-time car dealership was transformed into a quaint "village" with operating four-story windmill, a 150-foot canal through the center filled with fish and fountains, and the sidewalk cafe and stores. Skylights provide an outdoor look to the indoor space.
