Located in rural Malheur County, between the towns of Burns (pop. 2,700) and Drewsey (pop. 1,000), you can visit this large rock painted to look like a turtle. The fact that this turtle is located in the sparsely populated badlands of Oregon is somewhat surprising. Most folks out this way are kept occupied with just surviving in this climate, but some enterprising soul took the time to paint this big turtle.
