Oyster Dome Trail

Samish, WA

Oyster Dome is a rocky promontory on the western slope of Blanchard Mountain, the grandest member of the Chuckanut Mountain range. Views abound, from Skagit River Flats and Anacortes to the left to San Juan Islands, Samish Bay, and Vancouver Island. In the distance are the Olympic Mountains. The hike is 5 miles round trip with an elevation gain of about 1,200'.
