A. C. Hopson was a builder who is responsible for many of the famous mansions built in the 1860s and 70s in Vermont. Including the Judge Joseph Potter House/Skene Manor, The Joseph Adams House, and the Ira Allen House which is now the Marble Mansion Inn.
