Purple Martin

The fencing is to keep red squirrels and sparrows away from the nests but now it's hard
to bring in dried pine needles to build a nest.

Well, this is a conundrum, isn't it? Both squirrels and house sparrows love the cavities of those nest boxes, but... I hope the martins are able to bring in enough nesting material. Super shot of this one trying hard.
