This summer a chipmunk family lived in a cavity in our front yard
Locus tree. Today a Pileated excavated the "empty" cavity.



He came up with the juiciest, largest grub ever. Yum or yuck !
His head feathers looked wet & dirty so who knows where he'd been earlier.
