The premises on the left of the picture were for many years occupied by my 3x great uncle and was from where he plied his trade as a butcher. He also traded from No.33 where his wife's late husband had worked as a clog and pattern maker. He lived from 1818-1898 and was a Freeman of the City of York. Am I proud, I should say so.
