Isosceles Peak

Dusy Basin, Sequoia National Park

Along the ridgeline splitting the Palisade and Dusy basins in eastern Sequoia National Park sits aptly-named Isosceles Peak (12,250 feet). I discovered that this is an uncomfortable place to visit with a 40 degree sleeping bag on a 20 degree evening so, naturally, I spent most of the night photographing the area. This is a long exposure taken a few hours before sunrise, under a full moon.

Very nice! The first interesting photo I've seen with the D800E!
