Akron General Towpath Marathon, Akron, Ohio. October 12, 2003

The Towpath Marathon is held in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and run along the former towpath of the Ohio & Erie Canal. It is officially a trail marathon although pretty wimpy, being almost totally flat and run on an easy crushed limestone path which meanders through woods, swamps and Ohio country scenery.
