Cutaways of wooden molds - I think they make metal castings from these patterns which used in forming the actual pieces? Our tour guide explained it all, but it didn't sink in. It would seem like either way: if the wooden forms were used for the actual glass or for making metal blanks, they would burn up, wouldn't they? I'm soooo confused ;-)
