Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

Held the first week of August the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has been held every year since 1938--with the exception of 1942. (Due to fuel rationing during World War II.) In the first year there were 19 participants. In some years more than 700,000 attend the Rally.
