I'm using a housing for the camera, i.e., a large aluminium construction with a big lens upfront and buttons/knobs that let you operate the camera inside. Aquatica is the manufacturer of the one I use, but you'll be able to find many others, like Sea&Sea, Subal, Ikelite.

These pictures are amazing!! Are you using an underwater cameraor is there some kind of way of protecting the camera?

Dank je wel! Simpelweg snorkelen was al een prachtige ervaring: in een uur 19 schildpadden en 1 white-tip gezien (en gefotografeerd).

Bah Harmen, het zou verboden moeten zijn dit soort foto's toonbaar te maken in een grijs en koud Nederland :-)

Maareh, zeeeeeeeeeeeeeer mooie foto's. Ik heb zelf ook op Sipadan en Mabul mogen duiken, heel lang geleden. Een feest van herkenning!
