Third posting in this series "Breakfast Time and The Interaction of the Adult Loons with their 11 - 12 day old Chicks."

(Above) Dad catches a fourth, rather large, minnow and heads straight towards Mom and the Chicks.


Neither Chick seems to want the offered treat as they seek refuge behind Mom.


Dad zeros in on the larger of the two Chicks and says, "Here take it, its your turn."


Junior takes the minnow and after considerable effort, with Dad's help and insistance, it finally manages to swallow it whole.
