Common Loons - 3rd family. Note the size of the young one and the growth of the feathers. Unfortunately, like with the 1st family, it appears that the second young has perished. I've looked for several days only to find the adults and one young each time. I estimate the young one to be about 7 weeks old. ( Shot 1 of 2)
