OSPREY - Series of five shots of a family of Osprey with two fledglings. The young one on the left was perched there when I arrived. Mother was in a tree not far away. The young, and mother, appeared quite agitated by my presence and at times, it appeared that the young one was going to fly. It spread/stretched its wings several times. The second chick (right one) didn't show itself for quite some time (about 20 minutes) and only after Dad flew by with breakfast (a large goldfish or carp). Dad decided he did not like my presence either and circled for some time before perching on a tree not too far away. This seemed to excite the young ones, especially the one on the right. It flapped its wings time and time again and seemed to demand that Dad bring over his catch immediately. Note: the orangy eyes compared to yellowish for the adults. Note also the huge wing-span of these juveniles. (Shot 1 of 5)
