This is the third time this Fall that I've seen one or two Snow Geese amid several thousand Canada Geese stopping for a spell to feed during their southward migration. The Snow Goose/geese hold their own well against their bigger cousins who seem to pay them little attention.

This is a wonderful shot of this gaggle of geese including the lone snow goose, as well as a mallard pair, and do I see a merganser on the right!

It be pretty easy picking out that Snow Goose - - actually, probably easier than if it were alone' the Mallard pair blends in pretty good too

A beautiful image Hank! Superb how the frame is filled with large numbers of geese! In Holland the Canada Goose is an invasive species. V
