Our yard

A final shot of our accommodating Cooper's Hawk taking off to greener pastures, well maybe. We haven't seen it back for a few days now, but hopefully it will be back soon as it too has to eat and I could use a few less house Sparrows. They are eating me out of house and home and in the process scarring off many other small birds.

Fantastic shot. Love that wing stretch. Interesting that you have lots of house sparrows, still. I haven't seen any around here for years and the huge flock that once wintered at the Fletcher Garden has not been seen since about 2008. Their numbers are way down in most areas, but obviously they like your site!
