Our yard

Four images of a cooper's Hawk attempting to catch a House Sparrow, but alas, again no cigar.

Top Image: Landing on the outside of one of our snow-covered evergreen shrubs.


Peeking right in for the elusive Sparrows that often hide and roost in the snow-capped shrub.


Diving right in, but the Sparrows had flown the coup.


Coming out the far side with only some snow on its beak to show for it.
