At six weeks, the one remaining young has lost most of its down and acquired regular feathers. There has been considerable change in the increase in formation of feathers over the past week, even in the past two days I could see quite a difference. The young is out swimming and fishing on its own quite a bit now. In the above image, the 44 day old young was accompanied by both parents during rather choppy waters.
