This is an extremely rare Massachusetts Arms Co. Mold in the No. 2 Cylindrical and No. 3 Long Cylindrical Cavity. There is some debate as to whether this is the Long Cylindrical Cavity or a Special cavity with a two diameter bullet that was specifically designed for use in a Paper Patch Barrel. Regardless - the bevel base certainly identifies it as a Maynard style bullet. Also please notice the expansion plate that has been added to the bottom of the mold to facilitate the extra long No. 3 cavity.
