For the first time in more than 20 years we drove to Montana. We enjoyed (most of the time) snow every day along with single digit temps and chill factors dipping to 30 below. Along the way we visited a couple of locations where Karen has family connections to early, area settlers -- Pelican Rapids, MN and Belgrade, MT. We also had the opportunity to meet some distant cousins -- Dale & Jackie Peterson -- who provided us with a wonderful tour of the original family homesteads around Pelican Rapids.
