PROJECT: 48: Beyond the Box

DESCRIPTION: Forty-eight artists and craftspeople were invited to participate in a show at the Berea Arts Council. The show was inspired by an international exhibit "Women | Beyond Borders. For the exhibit artists received identical boxes and were asked to consider the meaning of the box and transform it via painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. The boxes are 14.5"L X 7.25"W C 3"D. They have a sliding top.
