flutter of memories

I am afraid that watching me do this might be a little like watching sausage being made. It might ruin the mystery. I work in fits and starts and try many things on my way to the image. Lots goes into the virtual trash can in PhotoShop. I usually start with an idea of some of the pieces/parts and then it evolves. I have read other methods that involve more upfront planning, but I have not gotten there yet. I think I need to revisit this one and do some more, but it is now in the resting stage. It is still perking in my brain and there may be changes down the line. But, I often have to put it aside for awhile and then come back latter with fresh inspiration. Thanks for your very kind comments.

Excellent result here, Rene. It's like if this picture had been painted with sweet melancholy feelings on a canvas of past time.

This is wonderful. Rene, I have to agree with Jill about sitting down with you and watching you work. I have had that thought before. I think I would be absolutely mesmerized....
