Very nice picture.

I too like the effect you gave this photo. You can almost imagine that you are in some deep dark rainforest that has lots of mist/fog, hence the dark foggy image of the turtles...

Really nice image. I specially like the lighting. Well composed.

VERY nice. I can imagine this photo in an aquarium or reptile area of a zoo. :)

Maybe I'm just not as "artsy" as the rest, but I'd prefer to see the image more clearly. These guys appear to be having a field day climbing upon each other. I love the expression on the bottom left turtles' face! Wish I could see the others more clearly too. Cool shot.

Very rich tones. Love the lighting and the effect. Got my vote.

Not sure what "burn & dodge" is, but it definitely works. Nice use of lighting makes the DOF look as if it's starting from the bottom left corner. The image has far greater appeal than a simple "turtle" head shot - is giving me a direction. Excellent.

very moody photo rene. I like the colours and the dark-feel. well done!

ALL PS manipulation was done in adjustment layers, NONE to the pixel layer of the photo. I just used burn and dodge techniques to bring out what was in the image.--Rene

Andreas, thanks. Actually I had to work pretty hard in photoshop on this image. I am taking a PS class online fromhttp://www.betterphoto.com from Lewis Kemper. We were using Multiply and Screen adjustment layers and learning how to Burn and Dodge. Picture was taken through glass and dim lighting. I liked the overall look and so felt it was worth while to work on this one.--Rene

I like the mood you have created here. I am not sure how you did it, but the dark, foggy lighting works really well, and I like the motion blur of the turtle to the right.
